How are boundary Events linked?

Good day,

I was wondering if a boundary event put on a process (organisational process for example) is connected to the detailed diagram of said process.:

I have an ERROR event placed on the boundary of  Org.Proc.A.

Now I want to detail OrgProc.A. Opening the diagram, the boundary event is not placed in this diagram. So I create a new one on the boundary of the detailed process, also called ERROR.

Are these two linked? Meaning is it possible to follow the content of flows over these events?

Hi, you can link the error events together using the Properties of the Boundary event.
