HOPEX Aquila - Upgrading

Is the new interface granted to all current users? or does it require a change of contract?

At no cost and without any contractual modifications, you can seamlessly migrate your existing HOPEX platform to HOPEX Aquila.

How would it go with the current HOPEX Version V5? Data has to be migrated to HOPEX Aquila. What about V6?

There will be no V6 release as such. HOPEX Aquila is simply the name assigned to the subsequent release following V5.

Will these enhancements result in pricing adjustments?

When you migrate your current HOPEX release to HOPEX Aquila, all the showcased improvements will be accessible without charges. However, please note that the AI-Driven APM feature may incur additional costs, depending on your choice to use the automatic technology discovery features offered through our partner Eracent.

When will upgrades happen to the existing instances? Will we be receiving updates about it

For existing customers upgrade module will be available on January 24th. Upgrade procedure and more detailed information will be published on MEGA Community.

Will we be informed about the server and environment requirements to prepare and adjust our previous server before the official release?

HOPEX Aquila prerequisites will be available in our community before the official release.

We are currently using an older version of HOPEX. Is there any documentation available on how we can prepare or what we need to know before the release to HOPEX Aquila?

Before the release of HOPEX Aquila in January 2024, we will provide you with additional details regarding the upgrade prerequisites, including the extent of the modifications from V5. This information will be shared well in advance of the release.

Versioning capabilities remains as previously. No major update for the time being.

What do you mean by "seamlessly migrate your existing HOPEX platform to HOPEX Aquila".

Will MEGA provide quality assurance team, and what about our operational risk as a company during migration? Who will cover this risk, as the Hopex platform is our license to operate in the financial market?

Upgrading to Aquila will be ease by the fact that, technically speaking, the HOPEX platform is not being re-engineered, only the UI/UX is redesigned.

Securing an upgrade to a new version depends on upstream analysis and organization of the project itself.
In all cases, project phases as dry/blank migration and UAT are there to mitigate risk.

Downtime of the service (from production perspective) can also be reduced to the minimum (few hours) and performed out of business hours.
