I'm looking for some guidance on workflows. We have a very simple workflow which is just sending a notification to a user for validation and he can accept it or reject it. At dispatch we send the emails for the actions. I do find however triggering the workflow to be very slow. It takes too much time for end-users to accept this. Is there anything that we could look into to increase performance? are other people experiencing the same?
The only "exotic" thing we did is adding two taggedvalues they need to fill in, in order to capture information for the validator. There is no user selection for validator required because it always goes to the same person.
We are running windows fat client HOPEX V1R3, Oracle DB.
