Fire macro on connecting an object

 Hi Community,

Do we have a possibility to fire a macro on connecting (or trying to connect) an object to another object.

So that we can validate some conditions in this macro.

would MetaAttributeUpdateTool fit for this ? I think it will also fire when you connect objects, if you attach the macro to the attribute modification date for example.
