Hide Objects on Diagram based on property value

Is it possible to only show Objects on a diagram based on a property value? Ideally we want two "views" on a diagram, one showing all Applications with an attribute set to a specific value and the other showing those with the same attribute set to a different value.

For example imagine an application city plan. Each application has an attribute "Category". Now there should be two views, view A shows only the Applications on the diagram where Category = A and view B shows only the Applications on the diagram where Category is not A.

This means we have a diagram with a skeleton of objects and shapes wich is always visible and we can select what other objects to display atop this skeleton.

You can add different MetaPictures and different conditions on that MetaPicture in the DiagramTypeObject

Hello Jerome,

unfortunately we want the same user to be able to "toggle" his view, much like hiding all elements related to a specific DiagramTypeView.

Hello Alros

If I understand, you want to display certain objects and hide other objects in diagrams.

There is a standard feature called 'Reading Access' (previously called 'confidentiality')

It enables to associate users and objects to levels (Reading Access Area) organized in a graph

Let us consider

A user U1, associated to a Reading Access Area RA1

An object O1, associated to a Reading Access Area RA2

RA1 is lower as RA2

If O1 is displayed in a diagram, U1 will not see it

This does not work as you described but looks like an answer

For HOPEX V1R2, you will find more details in the user manual 'MEGA Administration-Supervisor', section 'Managing Data Reading Access'
