Documentation on Save

We have a number of new users who are confused about the meaning of the "Save" operation under the Main Menu, but I couldn't find any reference or description of this action in the online documentation to show them.  We're using V2R1.

I found the text you referenced in the HOPEX Administration Guide, but that guide is written "for the person responsible for administrating users and objects from the HOPEX Administration desktop (Web Front-End)."  Is that section of the guide also intended for non-administrative users?

Also, I had heard that Save is primarily for diagram layouts, since changes in property sheets and other dialogs are saved automatically.  Is this true, and if so, where is this guidance documented?

Hi,

I found the following in the online documentation:

Saving Sessions

To save the modifications you have made in your session since the last save:

1.In your HOPEX desktop, click Main Menu.

2.Click Save.

These modifications are not saved in the repository. To save your modifications in the repository, you must dispatch these modifications, see "Dispatching Your Work".
