Change authorization level for many objects

Hi,

I have 1000+ objects ( e.g. messages, diagrams, applications) that I would like to change the authorization level of. I want to change the authorization downwards so a lower authorization level will be able to modify the objects. Is there a smart way to do that? I have tried using the excel export/import, but with no luck.

Use the Protect Object functionality in the Admin module. The functionality is located under Tools -> Manage.

You run the Protection on a high level object and then propegate downwards, or you just select all processes and protect them
