"New" Portal - Anyone know how you deploy this?

Installed Update 1 to V2R1...only see the old Portal template available going through Customizer---Documentation----Websites.   Found a PDF which talks about the  new features, but doesn't tell you how to deploy it.  Online V2R1 documentation is still ofr V2R1...not with the Update 1 change.    Any help would be appreciated.

The documentation for V2R1 Explorer, says "What's new in Update 1 & 2", but the footer on the pdf says "V2R1 Update 2 - April 2018"
