Why Application Deployable Channel doesn't have a text label?

Hello,

See example below:

In our organization - architects are manually adding "Text box" to label what information is flowing to a local application database - modeled with "Local Application Data Store" in a Scenario of Application Flows diagram.

Why isn't the Application Data Channel asking "what is flowing" to the Data store object?

It is almost as if the Application Data Channel is simply for modelling "access"

We just want to express this "sentence" in HOPEX notation

"Application component AAA is sending data BBB to a local database DEF "

@morten Thank you. that was helpful.

As you said I was able to add "read" and "write" labels by creating "Data Provision" and "Data consumption" to the Data Channel.

However,  I am worried about using this feature since its not documented.   I would like to hear from MEGA if this feature will be available in Aquila and moving forward.

For example,  nowhere in IT Architecture V2 documentation does it explain how to add these data read/writes from a datastore.

There are just steps to create a data channel - documented like this:

Open properties on the Application Data Channel, add a Data Consumption (read) or a Data Provision (write) in the "Data consumptions and provisions" tab
