ITPM - processes are standard or specific to the organization?

Hi. This is a functional doubt about ITPM. In ITPM you build a functional model of the organization - Org-units, Sites, Business Lines, Business Processes and Business Capabilities. However, the HOPEX V2R1 Documentation in the "Defining Business Processes" section only says that "APQC proposes standard repositories of business processes specific to each major activity sector."

My question: when an organization is using both Hopex ITPM and Hopex BPA, hence it has a detailed and accurate description of their own business processes, can it be used in ITPM? Or is the ITPM analyst obliged to stick to the standard APQC models?

Thanks a lot. Regards. Mario Florian (Spain)

Hi

Since you are on a common repository, you reuse your processes from BPA. In the same way BPA is also using the same Applications as you have in ITPM
