We are trying to use a transparent icon (currently in .png format, can be converted if necessary) in a shape.
The problem is that when adding the .PNG to a shape in shape editor using the Insert > Shape menu entry, the transparent region is displayed in black, removing the transparency.
What type of image (rasterized) can be used so that the icon is transparent? Or is there a work-around?
Note that the shape isn't opaque itself so removing the transparency is not an option.
See here for a screenshot of the problem.

Hello
After discussion with R&D, I can confirm that transparent image are not yet supported for shapes/diagram editor.
This is a signficant development that has not yet been planned.

Hi,
Have you found a solution for this yet? We are on V1R2CP9 and still experiencing the same issue.
Thanks!
