Hi,
When the password for impersonate user is changed/expired/locked in AD or if this was a local account, the new password has to be updated in HOPEX otherwise when the SSP is restarted, HOPEX web client will stop working.
It is a good idea to set user's properties as "Password Never Expire" but if the password has expired or changed or account is locked then HOPEX will not work after the SSP is restarted.
Please use below KB to change the impersonate user's password after the installation of HOPEX.

You will not need to update anything in MEGA if the Impersonate User password expired or changed. You should be able to continue to use HOPEX.
Another option is to set "password never expires", if it is enable for you.
Thanks,
Philip

Thank you fort he quick reply.
Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing.
When installing Mega on a server, it request for a functional AD account to be provided with it password. If that service account have it password expired after 6 moths, can we updated somewhere in Mega?

Hello,
The installation wizard does not allows to change the password.
In fact after installation there is no environment (systemDb) so it is not possible to defined a password.
It has to be perform when the environment is created.

Hi Mehdi,,
You can change pw by going Computer Management.
Local Users and Group --> Users --> right click your "Impersonate user" --> Set Password
Let me know if that's what you are looking for.
Thanks.
