Hello,
In my organization, architects often create following artifact to show mapping between business capabilities, line of business, and applications. For example, when creating a target operating model:
I am trying to understand how to generate something similar with HOPEX.
*** colors are just for clarity - in this example, they dont' mean anything ***
What I have tried (all out-of-box reports)
- Business Capability breakdown report
- Not a matrix
- Does not show mapping bettween LOBs and Capabilities
- Portfolio - list of applicaitons report
- Shows all three components - which is good
- Not same layout, so can't get same insights as from above
- Instant reports from selecting a list of applications
- I can get application x capability matrix with a check-marks displayed in cells
- but can't seem to create capability x LOB with applictions in the cells
I suspect the out-of-box reports are not going to cut-it and I need a custom matrix report.
I would appreciate any sugestions on how to proceed.
Ben.

Hello,
Best way to obtain such report is to create a Data Set report which contains the columns you need (via metaAssociations or queries navigation) and then apply an instant report on result data (using matrix type).
