RTF Descriptor Macro doesn't work from web

Hello, 

I created a descriptor with RTF Macro, to create a matrix. works fine from windows desktop app but from web it doesn't work, any clue?

Usually display ??????  occur in Windows Front-end when codepage/target language is not identified

Try to configure

• HOPEX Parameter 'Default CodePage' (multiple language) KB 00004151

• Windows system parameter 'Language for non-Unicode programs' KB 00000867

If issue persists, open a case so that we can perform further investigations.

Hi Jerome,

My case is different, RTF Macro works fine from Web for English language. But for Arabic content, it shows "????????". Any suggestions?

This RTF Macro works on Windows application for both languages.

I asked the question and i will answer it is possible by changing your dcomconfig settings for Microsoft Word.

Unfortunately, RTF macro are not supported in Web Front-end.

The cause is the following

Execution of RTF macro (as well as other processing) required that MS Word is run

This is not allowed in server mode
