does MEGA support, out of the box connectivity to other applications like HP ALM for example?

Or is it necessary to implement this connectivty by ourself?

There is no standard interface to HP ALM tools.

If you are considering CMDB, there is a generic format (XML based) to import data from CMDB.

You need to generate the data in the expected format.
