Visio Import "Failed to load control MSFlexGrid"

Hi,

A customer has reported the following error when they try to run the Visio Import:

"Failed to load control MSFlexGrid' from msflxgrd.ocx. Your version of msflxgrd.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application."

Can you provide guidance on fixing this please? I have asked them to register the version of the .ocx that is located in the MEGA System directory. Anything else you can suggest?

Hi François,

You can check following key in Registry Editor, in order to ensure the library is correctly registered:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{6262D3A0-531B-11CF-91F6-C2863C385E30}\InprocServer32

I suppose library registration requires administration privileges on the computer.
