Upgrade from SP5 CP6 ro SP5 CP7

In moving form CP6 to CP 7, I just want to verify that we can do a simple upgrade/install, versus uninstall/install.  What changes in the metamodel?  Thanks.

@ jerome,

I've done it on "test environment", I noticed :

- The original Installation (source/disk) is requested.

- The Environment must be compiled after the update.

I have a small issue with the mapping of web user in Advisor (I call is open with the support).

Except this, the update is fine. (We are using SQL server)

Hello John

Yes. You can install the CP  to upgrade from MEGA 2009 SP5 CP6 to MEGA 2009 SP5 CP7.

Run the installation MEGA 2009 SP5 CP7.0.msp on the machine used to install MEGA 2009 SP5.

See the document 'MEGA CP Upgrade Guide MEGA 2009 SP5 EN'.

Uninstall/reinstall could be required as work-around if

• The machin user to install MEGA 2009 SP5 is not identified
• A technical issue occurs during installation
