Objects Deletion / Creation is very slow

Hi Community,

 We are using V1R2 CP10 (750 - 4259) . From Hopex upgrade the tool is performing bit slow, especially while creation and deletion of objects it is takeing more than a minute or two .

Application Server Details:

RAM - 24GB

CPU - 3 cores

OS - windows 2012

Oracle Database server details:
Dell M710 16 x Intel Xeon(R) CPU X5672  3.20GHz
296 Gb memory
SGA : 1.5 Gb
Storage : IBM san storage

Any  improvement we have to make.

If you use Oracle storage, verify that the stored procedure installed by HOPEX are batched on a regular basis

you repository on db or gbms

If DB

Run DBMSUtility from utility folder where mega is installed it will show you if your environment is causing mega too slow.

turn off the logs from Mega administration side.

if gbms

turn off the logs from Mega administration side.

Does the database reorganize will help us. What exactly you mean by get rid of history. Is it deleting the history or is there any way not to store the history.

We are suffering from something similar and solution was offered was to get rid of all object's history.
