Mega V1R3 and Mega V2 on same machine

Hi,

A quick questions please, does Mega V1R3 and V2 can be installed and work on the same machine?

In order to support our customers, we need to have both versions on the same machine.

If it is possible then, is there any guidelines / documents to follow?

The rule is the following

For one machine, there should be one installation of HOPEX

Using several installations on the same machines is not at all recommended and is not supported for production servers.

Registry entries are not fully versionned. Such situations can be the cause of various errors.

For example: Administration APIs, CP upgrades, generation of Report (MS word) may fail.

Hi,

As a windows client you can have both running. Simply make a backup of the V1R3 folder before uninstallation.

As a web client I dont think you can have both running. That should only be possible if you have virtual servers running on your machine.
