Issue Importing Rational Rose UML Diagrams Into Mega

mtrapani

Hello,

We have several Rational Rose UML diagrams stored in MDL files that we are trying to import into Mega SP5 CP6.  We have Rational Software Architect 8.5 installed on the same machine as the Mega modeling tool.  When we try to import an MDL file, we get an error message saying that Rational Rose must be installed on the same machine.

What version(s) of Rational Rose are supported?

Thanks,

Mike

Jerome,

We successfully imported several hundred Rational Rose UML models into Mega 2009 using Rational Rose 7 (Product ID: 5724-N49) which is still supported.

Thanks,

Mike

Hello mtrapani

What version(s) of Rational Rose are supported?

--> As far as I know, MEGA has qualified version 2000, 2002, 2003 (Version 😎 of IBM Rational Rose

Anyway, given the design option of this import feature, it is still a requirement that both MEGA Desktop and IBM Rational Rose are installed on the same machine.
