How to set the Person Assignment and Role on Physical Data Area?

Hi,

We would like to assign a Person Assignment (Responsibility Assignment) for the "Physical Data Area" object that we are using to show a database. From the metamodel we can see that it enables Person Assignments for the "Physical Data Area", but how and where is the possibility to set this assignment on Physical Data Area? If we check the "Characteristics" tab there is nothing like assignemnt. Why we need that ... we need to define which role/person is for example the Database administrator for one database, or who is the designer of the database. If somebody know better way to do this, please advice.

We would like to use ReadyMade query for example:

Select Physical Data Area Where Person Assignment.Business Role ="Data Designer" And Person Assignment.Assigned Person= &CurrentUser

We have IT Architecture, BPMN, SOIA, HOPEX Customizer licensec.

HI Roman, adding an Assignment to a MetaClass is fairly straightforward.

The MetaClass needs to inherit from the "Assignment Object" Abstract MetaClass.

It then needs the Generic Object.Assignment MetaPropertyPage to be attached.

In the picture attached the Diagram has a red line - that is the ONLY change to the MetaModel you need other than the Property Page.

However Physical data Area is an Abstract MetaClass in HOPEX so I am not sure which one you actually want to use - you cannot assign someone to an Abstract.
