How to know which user is currently editing a diagram?

Hello,

Ever since upgrade to Aquila, I don't see a way to know reason why the Edit Diagram button is grayed out..   For example, we have observed that if one user is editing a diagram, then another user simply sees a "grayed out green Edit button".  But, there is no message why the button is grayed out.   There is no way to know which user is currently editing a diagram.

For example see this:

Am i doing something wrong.  Is there a way to see who is editing the diagram?  Have others observed this behavior in Aquila?

Oh, for clarity, the warning message setting I'm talking about is as Main Menu -> Settings -> Options -> Diagrams -> Display -> "Display a warning message when opening an uneditable diagram."

By default it is checked "on".

Hmmm... That's an interesting one. My first thought was "Maybe the warning message is turned off by default", but checking my own installation, it's on so it doesn't make any difference.

Then I realised that looking at the object Properties isn't going to mean anything, and what you need are the diagram properties. If you go there and then "Activity Feed" you can't see who has the diagram open, but you can see who's making changes to the diagram, per the screenshot below.

If someone has the diagram open to edit but isn't making changes, that's trickier, but it doesn't happen very much these days because you can navigate through the diagram viewer. Even in the past it didn't happen very much, to be honest.

So, back on track, I think the answer is that you can see in the Activity Feed of the Diagram.
