How to change connection string of Mega Web HOPEX V1R2 CP6

Hi Mega Users

I have migrated database of Mega into new server, and setting mega desktop to new DB.

But when i try to test mega HOPEX in web version, the connection is still to old DB.

How can i change the connection string of mega hopex into new DB?

It looks like your installation is still using the old database.

Please open a case so that we can perform further investigations.

Hi Jerome, We have done restoring into new DB by : 1. Creating script DB from SQL Server 2012 2. Running script into SQL Server 2008 R2 3. Via Administration console, create environment, and SQL connection 4.test connection is Ok 5. first when testing web Hopex : can connect to the web , but when I stop service old DB, i cannot connect to the web. Any others suggestion? Thanks Dsetyawan

Hello Dsetyawan

The better is rthat you create a new environment or new repositories in the 'Restore' mode.

For example for SQL Server, see section 'Restoring an environment (SystemDb repository)' page 54.
