Environment Installation process takes hours

Hi Everyone,

 

Have you ever faced that new environment installation process takes too much time? In our case to finish it needed approximately 10 hours.

How many minutes/hours a standard creation time?

Unfortunately after installation the slowdown remains (login, and any operations...).

 

Server details:

Hyper-V 

Win server 2012 r2 + sql server 2012 express sp1

Standalone installation

4 vCore

8gb ram

Thanks for your answer.

 

I think it wont help, It is a recently reinstalled server, first time we tried recreate the database, but it didn't help so we started from the beginning, fresh server install etc...

 

Any other idea?

Hello

 

This usually takes about 1 hour.

In your situation something should have gone wrong.

I suggest you delete the SQL server database (created) and try again.
