Deactivate temporarily data access rule

Hello,

We have defined data access rules which manage writing and reading access.

Is it possible to deactivate temporarily data access rule in order to update an object on which the user has no rights and then reactivate data access rule ?

Hi,

I don't think there is a possibility to deactivate a data access rule but I normally remove the profile which is used by the rule and connect that back again after the change - our rules are mostly profile based.
You might also be able to disconnect the macro or comment out the macro code but that sometimes require the instances to be restarted.
