Morning,
our patching over the weekend seems to have messed with Hopex, we have reverted back to C++ Redistributable 2015 but we seem to be getting a SSP Manager error now, anyone seen this before after windows/OS patching?

Hi,
we’ve already seen this behavior multiple times, and it’s consistently linked to the Windows patching process.
Some Windows updates replace or upgrade the Microsoft C++ Redistributable to a newer build which is not compatible with certain HOPEX versions, causing components like the SSP Manager to fail on startup.
To fix the issue, the only reliable approach is to reinstall the C++ Redistributable package provided by HOPEX, exactly as indicated by AHas.
You can download the supported version directly from the HOPEX community documentation:
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
After reinstalling the correct runtime, a restart of the HOPEX services usually restores normal operation.

Hi,
If you think, this is only because of the C++ Redistributable - what version you have reverted back to?
You can download the supported version from the link in HOPEX documentation:
https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
Event viewer is also very helpful to provide information about the missing/unsupported packages:
