Add custom button to diagram editor

Hello

How can we add a custom button to the diagram toolbar ?

I would like to add a custom export button either on the diagram editor or on the diagram viewer.

Which format do you plan ?

PNG ?

JPEG ?

SVG ? SVG will present some limitation in V2R1 that are fixed in V3 CP3.

I need to export the diagram in a specific format.

I will do a metacommand on the diagram metaclass instead.

What is the purpose your are trying to achieve ?  Maybe there is another way to do what you want...

User interface of the diagram in "Edit" or in "View" (call the dive tool) cannot be edited. They are stored in MEGA as a "MEGA Tool".

The only way to do what you want would be to created an additional layer on top of the MEGA Tool to add a toolbar with your button.

From a user perspective it will not be nice from my point of view.

From a customization point of you this is really advanced customization that will probably take you weeks of work before you succeed in what you want.
