The Application Exchange Graph is a new instant report that shows a graph of exchanges between selected applications.
It helps application portfolio managers assess all the ties of an application and assess how difficult an application can be removed from the application portfolio.
The Application Environment report now uses the new dynamic graph rendering for advanced impact analysis.
It replaces existing environment reports, including functional, data flows and deployments environment reports.
You can now create nested business capability maps (“box-in-box”) without creating the corresponding diagram in the background. This improves usability and helps reduce time to create capability maps.
The report is broken down by capability and sub-capabilities, as well as applications supporting capabilities in a nested layout.
The same functionality is also available for timed business capability maps.
The search into the Technopedia catalog has been improved for a better user experience.
By selecting an existing technology in HOPEX, the system suggests Technopedia components that best match the selected HOPEX technology component
Once the mapping has been done between ITPM and Technopedia, a Technopedia ID is included in the Technology information so that Technology lifecycle data is automatically updated.
The creation of application exchange is now using autocompletion to facilitate the search of applications.
The relationship between application and functionality is now compliant with the realization concept through a specific option in the solution (i.e. “a functionality is realized by an application”).
A migration tool is provided to convert the old relation to the realization relationship.
HOPEX IT Architecture & Information Architecture now have a working environment for the “Enterprise” concept. This entry point is optional.
By selecting this option, the inventory of objects is specific to an “Enterprise”, and objects are filtered for a given “Enterprise” working environment (It can exist multiple “Enterprises” within HOPEX)
When a user adds an object to the “Enterprise”, the system will automatically inform them whether another object already exists with the same name.
The Open Group ArchiMate Exchange Format can now be imported in HOPEX ArchiMate.
This new feature allows you to easily import ArchiMate data from other ArchiMate tools into HOPEX.
Property management in HOPEX ArchiMate has been improved so that you can add a property item to any ArchiMate concept. This provides additional information to objects used in ArchiMate diagrams.
New sample Report Data Set Definitions / Report templates, similar to TOGAF, are now available. These new reports help you identify gaps and improve decision-making.
As part of their DPIAs, Activity Owners can now assess their processing activities in terms of the risks they represent to data protection. This allows for future analysis of the organization’s ability to mitigate data protection risks.
There are 5 different types of risk:
1. Illegitimate Access
2. Data Loss
3. Data Integrity
4. Data Unavailability
5. Unlawful Processing
Processing Activity Owners can create Risks against the 5 types of Data Protection risk and assess each of these Risks.
DPOs can now choose what responsibility Legal Entity holds with regards to the processing activity (from Data Controller, Joint Controller and Data Processor).
Data Subject Requests can now be captured manually (To be captured via web form in Update 4).
DPOs can then decide the processing activities or parts of the organizations affected and assign the most relevant member of his/her GDPR Team to respond to the request.
This allows DPOS and GDPR team members to not only centralize data subject requests but to also ensure they are responded to within the required lead times.
GDPR Team, DPO and Chief Privacy Officer can now build customized reports using our Report Template as a basis.
This gives you greater flexibility to adapt your reporting to the needs and expectations of your stakeholders.
Record of processing & DPIA word documents are enriched with more pre-loaded content based on the GDPR regulation.
This helps the end users find information regarding the regulation by section & allows them to modify the report according to their stakeholders’ expectations.
Reports are now available by default on the dashboard page to all users.
You can replace these reports with any other report you deem more relevant to your needs.
These 3 default reports allow you to monitor overall progress of Processing Activities towards Compliance and can be parameterized to respond to your reporting needs. Note that you can only add Processing Activities that are within your scope of responsibility.
DPO, Deputy DPO and GDPR Team are now able to:
All the above helps manage Data Breaches in accordance with Art. 33 & 34.
HOPEX contains business process hierarchies, descriptions and diagrams
- HOPEX users create business process hierarchies and push them to SAPSAP Solution Manager associates transaction information to appropriate HOPEX objects
- SAP users see the process hierarchies created in HOPEX in a dedicated HOPEX workspace
Dedicated work spaces improve user experience
- SAP Solution Manager workspace in BPAAdditional reports provide more insights to integrations
- Transactions used in a business process branch
Operational Flow properties are expanded for better organization:
- DoDAF Classification
A Flow Editor is available to create flows, set property values and map to activities.
An Operational Flow matrix report is available.
This new data representation allows a better understanding of the data structure, as well as a better understanding of the relationships that bind data together.
New features include:
The new bubble chart report improves readability and usability, especially in populated reports.
Enhancements include:
Report Dataset Performance – Reuse of Query Results: To improve performance, you can now store the result of a query and reuse it in other queries to build datasets.
Data Filtering: A filter symbol now shows values that have been filtered in reports.
Users can now group reports by report folder based on user profile to improve user experience, e.g. IT Architecture reports are available in a sub-menu while ITPM reports are available in the main body of the menu.
This feature is performed using HOPEX Power Studio
You can now tie reports directly to a single object and make these reports available in the object menu and in instant reports. These reports will be opened in the view container.
It is now possible to reuse the code of an existing report template to build a new report with different parameter types (sub type of the original parameter type) and values, e.g. an environment Report (Dendrogram) available for “Model Building Block» can be reused for applications and capabilities.
Users can now switch from one profile to another without logging in/logging out.
You can switch to another profile, with appropriate permissions, from a dropdown menu in the main toolbar.
Dispatch Notification when logging out: If you made changes before logout, the dispatch popup will no longer be shown if no changes have been performed by the user. The notification will only pop up if you did some changes before logout.
The review note icon is now hidden by default before each attribute. They can be activated whenever needed.
An indicator now shows that diagram objects have review notes.
Indicators are available both in Edit & View mode.
Mono and multi views are now set by profile type.
For HOPEX profiles that don’t primarily use diagrams like HOPEX IT Portfolio Management users, GRC & GDPR users, the diagram view is set to mono view by default i.e., only one diagram of an object can be viewed at a time.
For profiles like Process designer or Enterprise Architect, the view is set to Multiview by default i.e., diagrams of different objects can be opened in multiple tabs.
A user in edit mode can now go back to view mode by using the back button, facilitating navigation in the interface.
The five recent searches are now stored in the full search box.
By typing the beginning of an old keyword, the keyword will show up in the recent searches.
You can now reduce or extend the scope of target object type in the search tool based on these three options:
This option enables you to display only the main objects type (for example Application, Portfolio, Risk, Business Capability, Functionality, Organizational Process, Class, Content) and the object type that plays a containing role (for Enterprise, library, package, subject area, project domain…)
This option enables you to display all the main object types, containers, and object types as (Operation, Attribute, column…). This option is checked by default to ensure the compliance of the current mode.
This option enables you to display all object type as target of the search by including object type of the contextualization for example: application component, participant, flows….
The “View all object type” option is available only when the metamodel is accessed in “Advanced or Expert” mode.
A set of default reports by profile is now available in the dashboard page.
Adding a new report in the dashboard is easier through a new “Add report” widget.
The scrollbars have been removed for all the reports in the dashboard and the reports are now seen in three columns.
The home page will be shown with tiles when signing back into the application. By clicking on the application logo, the user will be redirected to the home page.
Floating toolbars on lists and tree lists are now homogenous with the interface.
The menu item is now highlighted to let you know where they are in the application.
You can go back to default settings if the order and the configuration of the columns has been changed.
Diagram icons are updated with standard diagram icons to be in coherence with other icons in the interface.
