HOPEX V5: Hopex360 assets revert post server restart

Hello everyone,

following the transition to V5, it seems that due to the additional versioning capability on the HAS Instance Manager, every time the server is restarted files modified under ".shadowfiles\hopex360\15.3.0+6176\hopex.core\Mega_Std\assets" are reverted to the original state.

has a workaround been declared for this?

Hello,

we have a website template that was used as a solution pack in V4. we have not yet explored how to package it using the customization module. 

will surely start looking into it, thanks.

Edit:

having looked into the .custom module, it answers for our concern for website development. it is mentioned that we can package metamodel changes or macros and queries, though it is not clear how to extract the relevant mgr files or where to place them in the .md files.

may you provide any guidance on that?

Hello,

In V5 you should never edit file directly in shadowfiles folder. The system will revert any changes.

Any custom file you want to use should be packaged in custom module : https://store.mega.com/modules/details/has.custom 

Can you tell us more what you are trying to do ?
