I am trying to update metaattribute using java but keeps throwing exception saying occurence deprecated version for any metaattribute.

This does not ring a bell.

I suggest you create a case with MEGA technical support and describe more precisely

  • Java code used
  • Symptoms of the error (screen error, error log...)
