Adding custom attributes to Report Templates (MS Word)

Hi all,

HOPEX V4 CP2

I am trying to create a Report Template (MS Word), but am unable to insert custom attributes as elements in the template.

I have created a simple RTF Descriptor with the custom attribute:

Then I created a basic Report Template (MS Word):

When I try to insert the custom attribute into the report template I enter the appropriate data and press "OK", but nothing happens. 

I have tried this for several different types of custom attributes and the same thing happens (nothing).

What am I doing wrong?

For anyone who wants to know.  I was trying to add attributes to the template instead of variables.

You need to add the attributes to the descriptor and then all you add to the template are variables, so the descriptor is actually the template and the template is just the container that exposes the descriptor.
