Hello,
we try to import Oracle Designer 6i DAT-Files into MEGA.
We have several Problems.
The Import of files up to 20 MB is ending sucessfully.
Problem 1
The import of files over 30 MB (up to 90 MB) is aborting after 36 hours, because the 32-Bit MEGA cannot aquire more RAM (1,6 GB). We tried it on Windows XP (32-Bit) with 4 GB RAM and Windows 2008 Terminal Server (64-Bit) with 20 GB RAM.
But MEGA is only 32-BIT.
Problem 2
At the Oracle Designer Applications, whos Import ended sucessfully, we notice that
- The Description was truncated after 820 Characters
- The Relations between the first Diagram and their Entities are correct.
- The Relations between the second Diagram and their Entities are incorrect.
In MEGA you cannot see the relations of Entities which are used in the first and the second Diagrams.
Problem 1 is a show-Stopper for our Project to migrate the Data Modelling to MEGA.
