Adding an Enterprise Sub-Stage, what is the difference between using an IT Transformation Stage or a Business Transformation Stage?

Hi,

- IT Transformation Stage is dedicated to IT transformations definitions, and is therefore framed by a Functionality Map (functionality being an Information System Capability, fulfilled by Applications)

- Business Transformation Stage is foremost focused on business transfromations, and is framed by a Capability Map ; it is also more versatile, as business capabilities; business capabilities can indeed have more realizers types (e.g. not only Org-unit but also Application, IT Infrastructure or Hardware, etc.) and can be used as a "generic" kind of capability.

IT Transformation Stages were primarily intended for the HOPEX IT Strategy offering and Business Transformation Stages for HOPEX Business Architecture, but both are available for information sharing and compatibility sake as part of a wider Strategic Planning offering.

In case of doubt, I would recommend to use Business Transformation Stages, which allow more possibilities ?
