How to hide temporarily an object (API mode)?

How to temporarily hide one object into a repository?

The queries, diagrams, reports, web site, ... no longer allow access to this item.

I have not seen a suitable API.

I am not sure to understand wath you expect but I assume it is related to confidentialy of data

I recommend you consider 2 features

1)Reading Access Management (ex-confidentiality management)

Static definition: objects are stamped at creation or after creation with a Reading Access level

2) Permission rules

Dynamic definition: macro enable to compute the data visilble
