Format of image xxx.gif is too recent for this version of MEGA

Hi everyone,

We're trying to create some custom shape files in HOPEX V1R3CP12, and get the following error message when trying to add a gif file to an MGS file in the Shape editor tool:

Format of image xyz.gif is too recent for this version of MEGA

Version of image: 58

Latest supported version: 49

As a result, the gif file shows in the MGS file as a white box.

I originally created the gif file in Windows Paint on Windows 10.

Anyone encounter this before? Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Hi Jerome,

I can open the file that way, but only if i save it as a jpg. I don't see my .gif files when I use the open command in the shape editor. When I use a jpg file, the mgs file displays properly in the diagram.

I get a similar issue with the .ico file, where i get an error saying ould not load bitmap from file "d:\mega\mega hopex\Mega_Usr\ec2_1.ico".

Thanks,

Philippe

Hello pvandeginste

Can you open the file using the menu File > Open of the shape editor?
