HOPEX, V5, has an out-of-box report called Application Obsolescence Report. It has two section.
- Section 1 - Applications going obsolete (reaching end-of-retirement) in next floating year - and impacted business capabilities
- Section 2- Applications using Technologies going obsolete in next floating year (THIS IS THE ONE I"M INTERESTED IN)
The section 2 report is very good, BUT - it has a big limitation. It only displays applications if the Technologies are going obsolete in next floating year. It ignores technologies that are already obsolete. But, we have many applications running on Technologies which have been obsolete for years.
I am interested in showing an Application Portfolio owner - "here are all your applications running on obsolete Technologies". Is there a report like that out-of-box or not ?
