In HOPEX V5,  IT Application Designer profile can add Attributes on a Class.

Besides requiring the "Hopex Customizer" profile, you'd also require an available "Hopex Power Studio" license token (MTS2 is the command line code) as well as enabling the "Technical Metamodel views" under the environment (or your user's) "Options"
