User experience with the Flow object in Aquila 6.2

Hello Hopex users,

Just curious if any of you have had experience with the new Flow object in Aquila 6.2.  Specifically, I'm referring to this:

If you have used this - how has been your experience?  What is the biggest change from previous implementations which used the Application Flow object?

Hi Ben,

Firstly, I confess that I've only tested this out and not used it in anger on a client project just yet, but apart from the Communication System part, the tool operates just as it did before.

The only difference to a casual user is that when you're drawing an Application Flow on an Application/Application System Scenario Diagram, you have to choose a Communication System. Still, you can leave that at "Default Communication System". All other modelling, reporting and querying remain just as they have been since HOPEX v5.

The Communication System is interesting because it allows you to draw one or more integration processes based on the contents of the Application Flows attached to it while drawing Scenario Diagrams. This looks useful for Integration Architects.

As always, I hope that helps,

Alan
