Upgrade to V6 on SQL 2016?

Hi community,

we are preparing to upgrade our Hopex V4 to V6.  Unfortunately our SQL server is (still) version 2016 and will stay the same for a while. 

Did anyone try to upgrade to V6 with SQL 2016 and what kind of issues are (or can be) associated with this?

SQL servers 2014, 2016 and 2017 are not recommended for Aquila 6 which means, HOPEX has not been tested on these versions.

It doesn't mean that HOPEX will not work on these SQL versions, you probably will not encounter any issue but if you do encounter an issue then it might be too late to revert.

I personally have used HOPEX on older SQL servers without any issues but only for Test environments.
