Hi Mega Community,
Our users are asking if they can create a report like "Exchanges between Applications" but for an add-hoc list of Applications.
For example - An architect wants to do some analysis for 5 assets. He quickly wants to see Exchanges between them.
Is the only answer to build an Application Portfolio and create "Exchanges Between Applications" report?
Is there some other method of creating such a repot?

Just to complete this threat.
I solved the issue of why my Graph was "out of control". In one of the parameters for the "Path" - I had left the default of "Deeply" . Once I changed this to "Standard" the graphset was limited to only 1st level - as wanted.
Once again - the UX for defining a GraphSet in V5 is very challenging, so I kept "not seeing" this additional parameter.
In any case. Now, my GraphSet works as expected and I've gotten positive feedback from users.

Thanks @LMeden
I have access to HOPEX Customizer Publisher profile.
I have been trying to model my own GraphSet Definition - based on the out-of-box "Exchanges Between Applications" GraphSet.
I've got it almost correct.
However - the issue I'm having is that when I create a "Preview" of my GraphSet - and just give it 1 Application as a Root Object of the GraphSet - It creates a very large Graph which goes beyond the "First neighbors" of the root application.
I am struggling to "limit" the "Paths" to only the objects in the Application list.
Any help with this would be appreciated.

Do you have a HOPEX Studio license? If yes, try and have a look at the GraphSet Definition and create a report based on that for your end-users to use.

Just to add more clarity to the question.

I was thinking of using Instant reports for this, but how do you generate a "set" of applications I'm interested in. Do I need to use Advanced Search for that?
