MS Word Report template Compatible issues in Mega HOPEX Web Front end

Hello,

I see an error message when trying to generate MS Word Report from an exisitng report template in web front end. Attached is the error message I see.

However I am able to generate the MS Word Report through thick client.

Can you please suggest why the report work on the thick client and not on web client.

Also attached is the migration document that talks about conversion of report templates. We are not sure if this conversion needs to happen or not since MS Word reports are working on thick client and not on web client.

FYI MS Office is not installed onthe server, and during installtion MEGA support team said it is not necessary to have MS Office on the server.

Any help is much appreciated.

HI, I recevive the same issue message with the difference that I work only in local (no web) and till now no issue with the same Style sheet.

Report template (MS word) can be have 2 formats

• DOC format
• RTF format

Windows Front-end can run template in both DOC and RTF format

Web Front-end can run only templates in RTF format

As templates are natively in DOC format, it is required to convert them before using them in the Web Front-end
