Context
I am Tanguy Le Duff, UX designer and in charge of UX improvements for the HOPEX Aquila product. I am taking advantage of the community forum to share with you here some improvement ideas, with 2 objectives:
1) to get our customers to react to confirm (or not) these improvement needs, and possibly deepen and refine these expressions of need;
2) to allow customers to react to the ideas to identify the best possible solution in a co-construction process.
Topic
A customer shared with us that they were having difficulty with tabs order in property pages:
- topic#1: there is a first topic concerning the consistency of the order of the tabs (depending on the types of object, but also over time)
- topic#2: there is a second topic regarding the need to be able to modify and customize this order of tabs in property pages
Ideas for UX improvements
- idea#1 for topic#1: add a platform mechanism to ensure tab order consistency (per metaclass? or globally?)
- idea#2 for topic#2: add a feature that allows the user to change the order of the tabs (any type of users? only functional admin? other?)
