HOPEX Aquila: ideas to improve drag&drop of objects into a diagram

Context
I am Tanguy Le Duff, UX designer and in charge of UX improvements for the HOPEX Aquila product. I am taking advantage of the community forum to share with you here some improvement ideas, with 2 objectives:
1) to get our customers to react to confirm (or not) these improvement needs, and possibly deepen and refine these expressions of need;
2) to allow customers to react to the ideas to identify the best possible solution in a co-construction process.

Topic
A customer shared with us that they were having difficulty dragging and dropping an object into a diagram. The user's sequence of actions here consists of:
1) opening a diagram first
2) searching for an object they want to add to the diagram (this search can be done in several ways; see the reminder below)
3) adding the object by dragging and dropping

Reminder
I would like to take this opportunity to remind you that it is already possible (since version V6.1 of the HOPEX Aquila product) to perform a drag&drop from the search engine into a diagram, but also from an object displayed in the left panel.

Ideas for UX improvements
- idea#1:
display more attributes in the results of the "compact search" (search engine displayed in the header of the application) in order to be able to more easily discriminate between objects and thus find a particular object more easily (currently, in these search results, only the "name" attribute is displayed)
- idea#2: Add the ability to open the explorer alongside the application, for example in a new window or tab (in this "explorer", it is possible to search for an object and then drag&drop it)

+ your other ideas?

Please feel free to comment to react to the ideas proposed on the one hand, but also to add other ideas on the other hand. Thank you

I can see both idea#1 and idea#2 adding value.
If I had to prioritize I would go for idea#2
