Unable to reorgnize a database with existing transactions, publish or delete all transactions

Bonjour,

Nous avons rencontré un problème au niveau de la migration de données (de Mega V1R3 vers Hopex V2R1) de la base GBMS vers la base SQL.

Après avoir référencé l’environnement à migrer et après avoir correctement saisi les paramètres de connexion SQL, ce message d’erreur apparait « Unable to reorgnize a database with existing transactions, publish or delete all transactions first then restart ».

Vous trouverez ci-joint un document contenant les étapes que nous avons suivi+ le message d’erreur rencontré.

Yes, you cannot do that - you need to either delete the transactions that are open or Dispatch them. You can manage them in the Admin tool under the specific repository (Workspaces). The Web front end for HOPEX Administrator gives you the option to Dispatch, Delete, Export etc;

Hi,

If you are an Administrator user and are worried about losing the work in the existing workspace, you can (through Hopex Administation):

1. Temporarily set the user's authentication to "MEGA" (from say, Windows or LDAP)

2. Temporarily set a password after setting the authentication to "MEGA"

Through the Hopex Thick Client:

3. Log in as the user

4. Under the "File>>Properties" dropdown in the upper left of the Interface, select the "Update" tab and you can export the changes/updates to a mega file so the end user can then import into a new Workspace after the repository reorganization.

Hope that helped.
