Web Generation by a Non-Admin

Is there a way a regular user could trigger the generation of a website.

Is is understood that the Supervisor licence is required to design and develop Document and Website Templates however, whilst a regular user (None Supervisor/Administrator) can generate a Document there doesn't appear to be a way for them to generate the website.

Ideally a regular user should be able to logon to Hopex Web Interface, be unable to edit the website of choice but should be able to generate the website however failing this should be able to generate the website the website through the windows interface the same as an administrator just without a specific licenece (Supervisor) to do it.

Anyone any thoughts on either how to accomplish this or if there is a working feature I've missed?

Re: Web Generation by a Non-Admin

Regular users can launch a website generation. Usually we setup a template limited in scope for regular users to have data available in html format to discuss in workshops.

They need to go to the documentation tab and select web sites => new website and work from a predefined template.

Re: Web Generation by a Non-Admin

We have a website that follows a template and a generation location for a QA website.

What is wanted is for them to be able to generate the specific QA website but not be able to edit the template.

User doen't need to create a new website from a template however this also didn't work.

Do they get an error message? Can they see the website objects under documentation?

Re: Web Generation by a Non-Admin

Have followed your suggestion a little more closely. rather then the user selecting a website already created they have each created a website using the same template and set to generate in the same location.

Your suggestion works. thanks
