Question: Notification during importing .mgl file

Hello All,

During importing a .mgl file I recieve the following notification always (See screenshot).

importnotification.png

This generally happens when i do not select "Control Writiing Access Areas" in my Import wizard window.

My question:

  1. Do you know what this notification actually means and what sort of an effect it has ? Since the customizations that you import get imported without any issues.

Thank you and Greets
Nik

Re: Question: Notification during importing .mgl file

Hello Nik

This is a standard warning. By default it is assumed that you wan to control writing access area when importing a .MGL file.

However it is allowed to disable control writing access area when importing.

This is even recommended if the target environment (where the file is imported) does not have the same list of writing access areas than the source environment (where the file was generated).

To disable control writing access area when importing, you can

  • Uncheck this option and bypass the warning by clicking OK
  • Rename the file extension from .MGL to .MGR before import
