I would like to load of the order of 10.000 objects using a script-based macro. The current upload time is very slow (12+ hours), whereas for a smaller number of objects (around 500), the upload time is quite reasonable (around 2 minutes). This behaviour suggests a non-linear response related to Mega resource allocation and hitting some upper limits that are transaction-related rather than physical workstation related (I've checked workstation memory, CPU utilisation etc and these resources are fine).
Is there a configurable option related to transaction size and allowed resource utilisation?
If not, what in practice is a reasonable upper limit for changes within any individual transaction (assuming a script executing is considered to be one transaction)?
