How to use "Object Life" in an Organizational Process?

Hi All,

Do you have any idea or referencing document on how to use Object Life in an Organizational Process? I see there is a Gantt Chart view as well, but not sure what is the correct usage of this feature.

I'm looking into exploring this in relation to one of our projects, in which we are mapping the Finance Close business process for a company. Be able to represent the timeline for each of the processes is one of the key concerns.

Thanks for your advice!

Regards,

Nina.

Re: How to use "Object Life" in an Organizational Process?

Hi Nina,

I do think this is explained in detail in the product manual portfolio and planning on this site. I'm currently looking into this too.

As I understand it, object life is a concept which allows you to model the different stages in the lifetime of an object (in this case an organizational process). The default stages are something like preparation, in production, retired.
