Good afternoon Community, kind regards from México..

I´m a new member in the Mega Community, this is my first post, maybe it usefull for someone or helpfull to, so I need map a Pid with a User Process because I have a problem, I have one message it says "You can not delete this transaction. It is still opened by XXXXX on machine XXXXX".

I see the process monitor and Event Viewer but I can´t see wich process or PID I need to finish, because I see several PID´s for all the users, I try to reset one user but the app brin's me this error too.

I would appreciate very much that they could give me information on this issue so that it can esturiar and would not happen again.

Thanks Comunnity.

Hello Jean

With recent CP (ex: HOPEX V1R2-V1R3 CP8.0), the supervision tool enables to find this information.

This is a little technical. Maybe there is a simplier procedure.

Example:

Let is consider a user named Jérôme Horber (login JHR) login to Web Front-End

On the HOPEX server a process mgwspro is created with PID 9180

You can retrieve the PID of the web connection of user Jérôme Horber.

Steps:

In Mega Server Supervisor, a command 'Supervision' enables to display a supervision tool

In the supervision tool, tab 'Computers' double click on the name of the HOPEX server (here W-JHR7).

A window is displayed with several columns including

  • CONNECTIONID: displays type of connection and owner (user)
  • EVENTNAME: event
  • PID_CREATION DATE: displays PID plus a date/time

You can sort by PID_CREATION DATE, retrieve the PID.

The name of the user should be displayed for example for the event RepositorySessionConnect (connection)

Display in windows Task Manager (PID)
