Move Environment files

I created two environments successfully with a SQL database for both.  I forgot to change the destination for one of them.

How do I move the files stored on the Mega server?

This is hopex v1r2

Hello Kevin

Do you mean this?

The data is stored in SQL server or Oracle.

The MEGA environment has been create in a location1

Ex: C:\Users\Public\Documents\MEGA HOPEX V1R2\TestEnv

You want to move the folder (ex: TestEnv) to another location2 (ex: \\mega001\data\TestEnv)

In this case:

1) Move the folder to the expected location (ex: \\mega001\data)

2) With Administration.exe

  • Delete the previous reference (Ex: C:\Users\Public\Documents\MEGA HOPEX V1R2\TestEnv)
  • Create a new reference (Ex: \mega001\data\TestEnv)

Do not forget to set permissions for the new folder.

Do not rename the folder of the environement (ex: TestEnv). Otherwise, mapping with data is database server can be impacted.
